Hi all,

What are LF'ers thoughts on Bonio treats/biscuits.??

Ally's mum used to give their Lab 1 a day, and he loved them.

Are they a 'bad' food.? Or should I not worry.?

Thanks,

Matt

Mine have one a day too, 1/2 for a lunch time snack and 1/2 at bedtime. I just don't give them as much food to compensate for the extra.

CJ has a bonio substitute called Bonibix (made by Fold Hill), I get a 10kg box from the cash & carry, he has one when I go out, I`ve fed my dogs Bonio`s for many years and they`ve never done them any harm although like all treats they need to be given sparingley, one a day would be ok, i reduce CJ`s meal by a small amount to make up for it Smile

A Bonio and a cup of tea used to be my Lurcher's breakfast every morning and she lived a happy, healthy life until she was nearly 14 years old. Wink

How old is Harvey now Matt?, I think you`ll find he can cope well with the full sized ones, just give him a half instead of a whole one for a while Smile
