Owner has been in hospital and frantic since coming home today to find dog missing. Person meant to be looking after him is in deep trouble - they claim they rang a few places but obviously not the police, the pound, the dog warden or either of the local rescues! Kelly is going to try to persuade owner to chip him (his name is Thunder and he answers to it) in case anything similar happens in future.
so - happy ending for dog and his real owner, not so happy for the idiot who did not bother looking for him.

Phew, so glad that they have a caring owner to go back to 
I guess there is the chance the person looking after the dog did try to phone places and records weren't kept/matches weren't made - wouldn't be the first time that's happened, would it?
