Owner has been in hospital and frantic since coming home today to find dog missing. Person meant to be looking after him is in deep trouble - they claim they rang a few places but obviously not the police, the pound, the dog warden or either of the local rescues! Kelly is going to try to persuade owner to chip him (his name is Thunder and he answers to it) in case anything similar happens in future.

so - happy ending for dog and his real owner, not so happy for the idiot who did not bother looking for him.

Phew, so glad that they have a caring owner to go back to Smile

I guess there is the chance the person looking after the dog did try to phone places and records weren't kept/matches weren't made - wouldn't be the first time that's happened, would it? Sad

the person who was 'looking after' him ( if that's what you call it Shocked ) should have to pay the kennel fees!! If they had bothered to look for him he could have been home days ago. By the sounds of it he was safer with you anyway Confused
A microchip doesn't cost much..... what's wrong with some people! Evil or Very Mad

We charge £10 for a microchip!!! would have been cheaper than the fee he has been charged for kennelling.

Good Lord surely microchipping is a no brainer if you actually care about your dog ESPECIALLY if you have already lost them once. Some people are just beyond me!
