After trawling through the minefield of pet insurance and giving myself headaches I think I have decided to go with sainsburys. I need to get this sorted now as max's free insurance is running out. Am going to go with option 2 which is a lifetime cover and is £18 per month for £7500 worth of cover per condition. Am I making the right choice? Please tell me I am as I can't spend anymore time searching through it all anymore!!

Yes, I did my research thoroughly and found that it was either Sainsbury's or Marks and Spencers one... I went with Sainsbury's too. It is just one with the most money per condition.

Eddie's insured with Sainsbury's, and so far.. no complaints. They paid out promptly after his acorn-eating-drip-emergency blood tests incident

John Lewis has had some plugs on here and have got some satisfied customers, might be worth a look on the thread.

Lottie is insured with Sainsburys, option 2 too. They've been great with us. She was diagnosed with Elbow OCD at 18 months and not long after was bitten badly by a GSD Both claims were paid out very fast with no questions asked. My vet rates very highly Tesco,Sainsburys and Pet Plan.
I went with Sainsburys through my friend's recommendation. She has 2 labs who, over the years, have had loads of different problems.
I was really pleased too, that after claiming twice in 2 months for about £1500 my premium only increased by £2 a month (I was dreading the bill!) to £20.
