I did mention I would try and organise something last year but afraid I never followed this up, there appears to be a few more people up in NE Scotland who have an interest in gundog training, so I thought I would resurrect this topic again to see what interest there is.

I have access to a few different training grounds in the Alford Area of Aberdeenshire and a few bumper boys to aid simulating a shoot day or test scenario. and have previously organised small groups and taken individuals for training.

I would be happy to organise training for small groups of people say about 6 to 8 and split this between pups and novice, which would include people who just want to see what gundog training is about without taking the dog to the shooting field. And later on can organise more advanced training. Perhaps once a month and more often for those who require, or can offer individual lessons.

If there is enough interest will look at first session at the end of this month, Sunday preferred. Price £10 per person.

If people wanted lunch I could organise takeouts from the local bistro and organise a price with them.

Those interested please pm or email me , if interested on an individual basis please contact me also, would be good to get something going up here in the NE.

It sounds like I might have to turn this into a camping weekend with some training Smile

For those interested in turning a training day(s) into a weekend adventure there is a caravan/camping place in Alford called haughton park they are dog friendly so sure as well as training some get togethers could also be organised in the area
