Sas, I just looked in my profile and it has a 'always notify me of reply's in an e'mail' mine has a tick in the yes box.

Not sure if that will give you what you wanted.

edited, I mean if you look at your profile when you click on account at top of page, I may be on another planet, it is late Rolling Eyes

I always thought they were like the 'like' button on facebook - to acknowledge a post or agree with it or to say yes I've seen this, interesting thread' or say 'thanks for reading', 'thanks for responding'. Well that's what I use it for anyway!

I thanked you for your reply to my post about Tilly's wee this week. I'm sure if you look at the actual posts, you will see that you have been thanked.

I hardly ever receive 'thank you' notification emails in my inbox either, or thread replies for that matter. I probably get 1 in every 10. All my profile boxes are ticked to receive notifications but it makes no difference. The missing ones just never arrive (they're not in my spam box).
