have you thought about the halti body harness? it may not be as good as the walkeeze but can be picked up cheap on ebay etc. it had a buckle on the chest and one on the back to attach the lead to (you would need the coupler lead to go with) so it puts pressure on the chest to prevent them from pulling, much like the other harnesses mentioned.
p@h have recently got in a new non pull harness which my oh`s mom bought for jake and it`s actually really good. my friend is the assistant manager there so she let us take one home to try it out before buying plus it meant she was more informed of how good it actually was for when customers asked. i was really skeptical of it as we`ve got a good few harnesses here but was surprised by how much control it gives, especially as jake is one of those who`ll just decide to take flight with no warning and drag you along with! if you go into your local store and ask i`m sure they`ll let you try on the harnesses and walk round the store to see how you like them. also they sell halti`s and gentle leaders in there you could ask to try but they`re selling them off right now as they`re only gonna stock their own branded stuff so not sure if your nearest store would still stock them
I use a halti collar and it is great. Barney does walk quite well just on the lead but if something more interesting is close by then i am pulled as well. He does weigh 42kg and so control is a great thing. the kids can walk him too
Hi, I have a Canny Collar, its a bit of a pain and Lucy can very easily rub her nose on the grass and take it off, and awkward in the dark to get on again. Used a halti which was quite good until she broke it! Started with a harness which did nothing!
She is 4 now and still pulls on the lead. I was very BAD at training her when she was a puppy! My fault
I used this when training Moss to stay at heel when we went running on lead. He had fairly good heelwork at walking pace, but when I broke into a jog he just got totally over excited (dont know why - my running speed is only fractionally faster than a slow walk anyway)
It worked really well and I've continued to use it as a running harness but just switched to clipping the lead on to the back rather than the "no pull" chest part.

when I first got barney as an 18 month old rescue he was a complete mad ball of energy and far too hard for me to control. The bog behaviorist suggested a haly harness. This he took to quite readily and it did give me more control while I was working him and meant I stayed on my feet if a cat walked past! However when I started him with a dog trainer she wasn't keen on the harness and suggested the halti head collar would give me even more control as he was still using his weight against me. So I switched but he hates it plus sometime people think its a muzzle and conclude he's dangerous which is totally wrong - he's just too keen to say hello. So as now he's good unless he sees a cat or squirrel i've gone back to the harness so I can hold him if he does try to chase and he's very comfy in it. Plus the puppy was jumping and pulling at the head collar - not helpful.
I use a halti, mainly for when we first set off for our walk. It actually looks slightly big on her, (though not uncomfortable on the eyes etc)- but she bit through the smaller size. It certainly does make a difference for us - and walks are a pleasure rather than a trial. It also gives me piece of mind, because she's like Houdini at wriggling out of her collar, if she puts her mind to it.
I did try the walkeeze, as I'd seen it recommended, but it really didn't make any difference and I felt I'd wasted £20 to be honest.
