Well after Laura left us, as she was going to be tested for her hearing/vision down at the Breeding Centre in Warwick (but thats a whole different story) my Supervisor put us down for another pup. We had a phone call the next day to say that the N litter which was born on the 9th January exactly a week after Laura had a homeless pup. Natalie was part of a litter that was due to go over to Guide Dogs Ireland, but because she had an upset tum, she literally missed the boat.
All recovered, she was allocated to us Natalie has been with us a week now, she is a yellow labrador x golden retriever and Im pleased to say that not only can she hear the tiniest chink of the dinner bowls, she can spot a rice krispie dropped on the floor at ten paces
She is very much a cuddle monster and very fluffy. We have had hardly any mouthing at all and although weve had quite a few disturbed nights, the last couple of nights she has slept through in her crate.
She went into an office yesterday for the first time, completely bomb proof she is and lapped up all the attention
Awww Natalie is gorgeous, I`m glad you got another so soon after Laura, I know you thought it waould take an age, looking forward to hearing how she progresses with her training
