YAY Very Happy That's a gundog winner two years running. I did like the RBIS as well and what an achievement for her at 17 months old!

I'm so glad the flatcoat won - wonderful to see a 9 year old looking so fabulous. Very happy with the runner up too - very cute.

the flat coat!!! Wish the staffy had got in otherwise i would def be routing for that one - little part of my home!

Have to agree. That staffy was STUNNING. The perfect example of a middle of the road staffy. Not too lean, not too heavy and muscled up, not too short nosed (as some seem to be getting these days), not too short in the leg or too long, just, well, PERFECT. And talk about cute face...... I'm in love love7 For the Show Staffy, absolutely bang on in terms of type and health.

BUT she wasn't in tonights final, and so instead I wanted the FCR to win and am thrilled that he did Wink and the little basset was gorgeous. He looked like a healthy, fun little dog to own. A good result I think Very Happy

*swoon*: sorry Embarassed (don't forget there's one in rescue waiting for you now!) Embarassed

we would have a staffy but they are a banned dog over in germany. we were originally going to get one but with the possibility of germany we didnt want to have to give it up. my sis has a staffy called lexi such a sweet and affectionate dog. Great with the kids - he has allowed them to roll over him and pull him etc since they were tiny babies so patient with them, i just dont no how people say all staffy's are bad and give the breed a bad reputation when i know a handful of staffy's have a sweet as disposition than Indi currently has! If anything at the min the staffy's are more patient with the kids than indi has. She assumes all kids mean playtime and therefore require flattening. I know she will calm down with kids once we have our own and she does have a sweet and affectionate nature around adults and babies, she is still a teenager going through the terrible 2's.hehe Shocked

I love staffy's just wish they didnt get such a bad reputation. Crying or Very sad That staffy has such a beautiful face and like you said barney an excellent build just how a staffy should be!!!

I was so pleased the Flattie won and the Petit Bassett got Reserve. All the dogs were obviously of a fantastic standard (even the GSD wasn't as bent as ones I've seen in previous years) but those two were simply BEGGING to win Very Happy .
