How sad that he had to spend his last days lost and confused. I suppose we will never know how he came to be where he was poor old boy.

yes sadly his breathing deteriorated further over the weekend and he was on oxygen. The vets could see he would not improve and was suffering so they let him go. He was cuddled as he went and was warm and safe for at least his last few days
