alfred died on wednesday morning
my life is never going to be the same again
the pain is so bad i feel like i can't breathe
i don't want words of sympathy and understanding
i don't want to hear how he had such a long long fabulous life
i know all of this and i know we gave him everything back that he gave us and more
he's still here......... he lived here, he died here and we took him to norfolk yesterday to be cremated..all of us,we all went..... and he was only away from us for an hour and a half......... we brought him home and placed his ashes on the window sill in the sunshine.......... he loved to look out of the window and he loved to lay in the sunshine.......... he slept in our bedroom every night.. it's the right place for him.
nothing is going to help........... in can't find comfort in marley..frank... my children or my husband.........
what i want more than anything in the world.........more than i have ever wanted anything before is to be able to touch him again...to feel his soft soft ears and to hug him close to me.
i know it's something i can never do again......... and it hurts so much.
the more people i tell the more real and painful it becomes........
he is so deeply part of who i am i feel pulled apart
