I'm looking for a new food (not to expensive) to try Daisy on. She is been fussy with Wainwrights which is a shame because I really like it.

Just a quick poll to see what everyone thinks. Sorry if your brand is not listed! These are the ones i'm considering.

Hi Emma I feed Dylan on Orijen.

Positives are, no more evil smelling bottie burps Bad Air Day lovely perfect poos Very Happy his coat is beautiful and soft and even though he is yellow you can see a shine to it. It is supposed to be particularly good for their skin and I have notcied the little hard patches Dylan had on his elbows have completely gone and are furry again Very Happy

Negatives It is very expensive and has actually just gone up Evil or Very Mad although you do feed less because it is more filling so does go further.

Arden Grange is what I've always fed and their coats couldn't be better, they've always done really well on it. Go to Petplanet.co.uk as they do 15kg sacks of the Lamb one for £25ish, the cheapest I've found on the web and £11 cheaper than local pet shops! Their delivery is free and quick too!

Have you considered Autarky? IMO it's a great hollistic food and very reasonable
You can get it from GJW Titmuss for £17.75 per 15kg bag who donate to the oldies club and if you order 2 bags it's free delivery Laughing

http://www.gjwtitmuss.co.uk/Products/Products.asp?Keyword=autark y&type=search&searchclause=all

Edited to add mine always have it mixed with Nature Diet/Wainwrights/sardines/chicken as I don't like them just to have kibble

I've not had mine on any of the above, although I do know several people who feed Arden Grange and swear by it. I did try mine on Burns once, but some wouldn't eat it and I have to say it didn't smell very appetising.

I feed mine Naturediet, but have also fed Arden Grange (salmon) and Orijen and I think they are both good dried foods.

I did try mine on Burns some years ago but I found it kept them lean (too lean) and they had the most dreadful wind on it! I know lots of people like it though.

I have used Skinners and Arden Grange on my Lab, prefer the AG but TBH there was nothing in it and I think Lucan is the sort of dog who'd do well on anything. Have just ordered a couple of bags of CSJ so will see how that compares.

I was going to ask the same. I feed skinners F&T and have been very impressed with the results.
