I let Maxs' steep in washing powder for a good hour, give it a good rub and then rinse it. Usually no smell left. Very Happy

I get a thick old sock ( man's sport type) and wrap it around this clip a couple of time and secure it tightly with an elastic band . And then put it in the washing machine. Does the trick nicely.

Just throw it straight in the washer with the collar, towels, vetbed etc. There's lots of clunking but it doesn't seem to do any harm.

Put it in a sock or glove or pillowcase and tie up the end to minimise clunking! Only method of clearing the fox poop stench I've found!
