Please meet Socks, he is a smashing 8 month old Lab/Collie X who was surrendered to the vets.
He has a pin in his leg where he had an accident at 4 months old, but he has recovered well and is in excellent health.
He is castrated and fully up to date with his vaccinations.
He has lived with another dog and has been assessed today with dogs that belong to the vets and being a typical youngster wants to bounce and play all day.
Not cat tested
He sits and gives paw as well as walk nicely on the lead, he is a quick learner and the vet thinks he will make an excellent agility or obedience dog.
He was surrendered for PTS as he lunged at his owner and she thought he may bite her.
He has NEVER shown any aggression to the vets throughout any treatment for his fracture and subsequent visits and if he were truly aggressive then pain would be a massive trigger.
He needs to go to a home that will give him the training and guidance he needs, with no young children
If you are interested in adopting Sock, then please contact PRO DOGS DIRECT who kindly offered to take him in for me..

My Rosie is a lab-collie x (well as far as we know ) and they are wonderful dogs; very bright and intelligent, very energetic, incredibly keen to please and absolutely devoted to their owners. Socks will make a super super dog for someone!
Shame Laura; he would have been perfect company for Luna!!

I agree with Jane. Collie X's are great fun, very inteligent and always wanting to please
Im sure Socks would make a great agility dog if hes anything like Harry is.
Socks is off to his new forever home tomorrow, the family passed their homecheck today and I am sure he will have a smashing new life

Sadly this beautiful dog is being returned to rescue and we are looking for a foster home for him so he can be rehabilitated
