Well I do hope the vets are appointed by some sort of independent body, otherwise the whole exercise will be pointless. If the Vets are part of the same Funny Handshake Gang as some of the show judges and entries, then the whole system will end up even more bent than it already is.

After the Pedigree Dogs Exposed program the KC were forced to do something. As to the exhibitors of those breeds, and for that matter all breeds, it should help to focus the mind. However nice their dog is, if it's not healthy, in as far as visually healthy, then it's not going to win diddy squat! Maybe, just maybe, when the furror had died down a bit, the KC can then move to make health testing mandatory before a dog can become a champion. (Because there are still a lot of champions, even in Labradors, who have not had even the oldest health test, hip scoring!)
