Oh good! Can we meet in the afternoon as my son has a swimming lesson in the morning. Or if you prefer, sunday morning is also good?

I can do either day that weekend and don't mind whether it is morning or afternoon, just let me know what suits you (and anyone else who wants to come). Do you have any particular walk in mind? Somewhere with lots of off-lead is easier.

We're walking at Digley reservoir near Holmfirth with Springers this Sunday.

We could do part of the Skelmanthorpe village trial. Most of it is off lead but they will need to be on lead at different parts throughout.

Is that ok? I'm open to different suggestions; I don't really know any other walks.

That's fine, next week we can decide when and where to meet.

Anyone else want to come along?

Most of my walks are very local to me - the area we went on Sunday or in the woods - perhaps you can come to the woods for a future one. I once went for a group walk in the fields and woods behind Storthes Hall, I think I would probably remember the way if you want to do that one sometime too.

Once you are doing longer walks as Daisy gets older you will bump into more people locally and they will probably show you some nice walks as you get to know them. I have tagged along with people in the woods several times and found some new paths - and met some great dogs & people too. Dogs can be great ice breakers and whilst you might not know their owner's name you can quite often strike up some good conversations.
