Oh no. This must be a kennels' worst nightmare. I note that she was lost on 14th December, but not registered on Doglost until 1st Jan. Why the delay?

Perhaps the owners were away if she went missing from kennels

They probably were away. And I appreciate the kennels probably had to wait for the owners to return before publicising the dog being missing. It's sad, because a delay like that has made it all the less likely she'll be found safe and well. The freezing weather wont have made it any easier either.

Oh how awful for that poor girl and her owners
I worked at a boarding kennels for two and a half years and I well remember the fear of losing a dog if it had slipped the lead, fortunately the entire kennels was enclosed and set in it's own 5 acres with a small, hardly used lane running past but that didn't make it any easier!
