Has your vet run any tests to try to find out what Holly is reacting to?
Minnie has had a few flare ups of skin problems around her face. I feed her Naturediet sensitive (fish-based) and give her vitamins and Yumega Plus.
Has Holly's skin problem started recently? Is there anything you've changed by way of food; around the house (washing powder, cleaning stuff, carpet spray); anything different where you are walking?

Hi angela this has been going on for approx 1yr, she started with a sore tail which she wouldn't stop chewing eventually the vet did a skin scrape which showed a dead demodectic mite so she was treated with a horrible smelling bath solution, since then she has been suffering terribly with an itchy back which causes her some distress and she rolls around the floor and makes herself sore with scratching so then ends up with antibiotics and steroids at the minute she has bald patches on her back her tail has healed eventually. Our vet has done skin biopsy's and blood tests and nothing has shown up, we are waiting to see a skin specialist but she has to be off treatment for 4 weeks before they will see her. I sometimes wonder if the stuff we bathed her in has damaged her skin as the majority of her hair is lovely and shiny, she is such a lovely girl we hate to see her in so much discomfort.

My last dog that had a skin prob unfortunately i wasnt educated in good foods so we tried tuna oil etc but it only helped a little
After some advice from an independant pet retailer i switched my last dog to JWB and my boys now are on it, as it happens its also the food my current vet recommends but they were already on it anyway and their reason being that there is very little in it that a dog can be allergic too
I just looked on their site and there is a free sample page - not sure how much you get but i would imagine the small bag which is what i got off the vet - http://www.wellbeloved.com/products/trial_sample.aspx
