Im currebtly feeding Holly James Wellbeloved Turkey and Rice dry puppy food, the breeder was giving the pups Chudley's which i have never heard of and didnt know where to get at such short notice. So i went into my local pet store and purchased the above as it has a 27% Turkey meat content, no animal derivatives and lots of seaweed oats etc and obviously rice.
Now its on offer at the moment until the end of December and instead of it being £10 for 2kg bag you get 2 bags for £12 which is obviously a big saving of £8 but for the BIG bags when she is an adult its £49 !! am i being selfish in saying that thats a hell of a lot or is there an alternative thats not just as expensive but has all the goodness that she will require.
Sorry its my first day on here and im inundating you with posts
Thanks again

Hi,
I had the same dilema!
I was going to start JWB, but then decsided to go with Wainwrights. Fab food has much the same ingrediants!! But much cheaper in the long run due to it only been made for pets at home (you save on distribution).
I saw a instant improvement in her coat and poo's (sorry TMI)
Hope thats helpful

Yea we think that some dog food is too dear.
We use Skinners which is £20 for a 15 k bag and is VAT free and had no problems with Dolly. Her coat is lovely

A Skinners fan here too. I pay about £17. We started Skye on JWB but found that she always had soft poo. Chudleys is also a very good food.

My two are on JWB. I keep threatening to change to Skinners but what I like about JWB is the chunks are huge so they have to crunch them. I only ever buy online and get 2 x 15kg sacks for £70 but recently got 2 x 18kg for the same price due to a promotion. I never buy food from PAH, its so expensive compared to may places online.
