Hi!

I've been reading the threads on the Kong Wobbler and also the Dog Pyramid. They both sound great and something that Tiber would definitely love! Could someone maybe explain the differences between them and what the pros/cons are of each please? Tiber is quite a chewer so I'd need something quite strong! But I'd like to get one of these for xmas/birthday for him!

Thanks for your help!

Annie

We had a dog pyramid that survived a good long time (probably best part of a year!) until one day I think Pasco got a hold of it an put holes in it. If he chews everything, then I'd save your money mean time or keep it as a toy he's only allowed to use while you guys are watching!

They are GREAT! I've no idea about the wobbler, but the pyramid yes! You can get a whole meal in there and it will entertain them for AGES!!! Hudson loved it... like reaaaaaly loved it. Its no use if you have more than one dog though which is why we never replaced it.

Have only tried the Kong Wobbler and found it ideal, strong (even with one who has been teething and now has a full set of new ones Very Happy ). It has a base that unscrews and you place the biscuits on the base. What we found was that if you were going to give a whole meal then what we needed to do was to screw the base and top together and then put biscuits through the whole as a top up (this isn't a bind at all, although it may sound as if it is).

It takes a while for them to get used to it which is good and it is not too easy for them to get the biscuits out, paw and head butting are George's preferred methods. Haven't tried the pyramid but you have a good review from Fee

Another pyramid user, Berry really goes for it with the pyramid and I always come home to find it rammed up a corner somewhere. Empty of course but she obviously still plays with it when its empty for it to end up where it does!

I love anything that provides a good distraction so I know she's entertained when I leave, can then sleep it off and then I'm back!

Hi, Frankie has the kong wobbler - its great! We've tried that and the lighter treat dispenser balls. He loves his big kong ... he's getting good at using his paws to shift it, as well as his big beaky nose. The top is also small enough for him to be able to lift it - handy when it gets stuck behind a chair. HOWEVER .... if you have wooden or laminate floors, then be prepared for a lot of crashing about, and I'm sure there are a few bumps on the skirting boards that weren't there before ....

I tend to put half his dry meal in it, topped up with some moe interesting bits!

£10.60 + p&P from my local pet shop - Just Dogs - link below. They are really good - small, friendly independent shop.

hope this helps!

We have the kong one, and mine all love it, the older dogs let Zanna do all the work and follow her nicking the treats as they come out Laughing Keeps all four amused at once !

Just looking at one of these for alfie they seem to be going for around 10 on amazon. Is there are a particular size i should look for or are they just standard? x
