Thought you may all appreciate a laugh, so am posting our disastrous Agility day yesterday, Me and Lincoln taking part in the Club's Fun Day, In hindsight way too many people turned out for a cold November Day! Very Happy Very Happy

It was all going well-ish with Lincoln doing his usual "lets leap and bite Mum, 'coz I know she won't shout at me too much with all these nice folks watching" Rolling Eyes I was doing my best to handle the young Dink's antics..in fact despite it all he was jumping clear as we approached the last hurdle....

Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes This is gonna take a long time to live down, naturally it's gone all over Facebook..and club members are having a blast with this one! Believe it or not we actually got 4th place for this! lol

But apparently I didn't take the prize for funniest moment of the day that went to Lincoln's good mate Molly the Choccie Lab...for the first 3 minutes of her round!

Labradors and Agility just one big party! Very Happy Very Happy

Oh you poor thing, but that's so so soooo funny. I think all the gasps from the spectators add to the drama nicely Smile

Ooooops!! Hope you are ok!
Thankfully I think my graceful fall into the jump face first in an agility comp wasn't caught on camera Very Happy Very Happy (or at least I have yet to be shown it if it was! And it was back in Jul!) We ALL do it!! And we ALL get mugged by our ever so concerned lab while on the floor! My trainer has no sympathy but is most insistent that we will be removed from the club if we land on our dog!!!!! LOL

I have yet to see a dog run off with a number like Ruby!! Luna is hopefully not just pretending to be asleep! She needs no ideas!

Oh and here are the tips I got given to stop Luna mouthing me (most of the time!?)?
1) Stand up straight, no leaning down
2) give her commands early so as she is committed to the jump tell her tunnel so she doesn't look to me after the jump but focuses ahead and 3) RUUUUUUUUUN like the clappers!! A moving target is harder to grab! (of course this does lead to more falls on face than you'd like!)

Easy to list, more difficult to remember in practice as the videos of me show!

Completely agree that labs and agility = PARTY!!!
Glad you had fun!
