We had a very nice couple of days in the New Forest last weekend. It is my most favourite time of year to visit there, as the colours in the Forest are absolutely breathtaking.

We stopped as usual, at our favourite place....Sandy Balls Very Happy .

The Girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves, exploring the New Forest, going swimming in the rather rough sea at Hengistbury Head and coming to the pub with us.

Obligatory photos ... Wink

In the Pub Very Happy

Pickle said "Ollidays make me wewwy tired" Laughing

Mojo loved the fire, as we don't have one at home.

"Do we HAVE to go home Mum?"

I think we could quite happily have all stayed there forever.

They say you can take 2 dogs, however we always go well out of season and I just ask nicely if they would allow me to bring more. Wink

Oh yes Mary. According to Pickle, a walk just isn't right unless you are struggling along with half a tree in your mouth Laughing .

We were there 3 weeks ago and had a great weekend. definately going to try to go again next year. Max loved Hengistbury Head too!!! Very Happy

We had a lodge as well and I thought it was great that they had a little gate system on the decking area. V Dog friendly.

Is that the pub on site or another ??
