I write a diary online for Guide Dogs and Im in the process of writing the last two months entry. They asked me to produce a video of his year with us before he goes into training on the 15th November.

That was lovely Janice, great to see how Usher grew and progressed during his year with you, I greatly admire you and others like you that devote time to teaching these pups the basics for varying charities Smile .

Thats a lovely video i dont think i could give them up though, my exs aunt used to be a puppy walker, i only ever met one of the pups Gemma but she was a little angel an i hope she is dong really well now

We do fall in love, completely and utterly, we definately dont want to give them up either.

Its a bit like I imagine how fostering children would be like. You have to love them like your own, you have to provide them with a decent upbringing with as much love and time and attention as you have them for. You have to give them roots and wings. They are on a journey which we are just one part of.

For anyone that would like to know the music is called I Giorni by Ludovico Einaudi. I Giorni translates to 'The Days' in Italian. Its my most favourite piece of music ever. It just seemed appropriate.

The school I have just returned to work at has the motto 'Roots and Wings' too! I'm sure that as Usher's wings take him flying into his work, his roots will always spread back to you xx
