Great post! Winston eats a lot of grass! But hes never sick!

Saves me cutting the edges of the lawn!! Laughing

But he likes to do it when we arent watching.... with is strange as we have never told him off! I think he does it out of greed! Laughing

Or he sometimes does it when his friend is round! She doesnt have any grass in her garden! Rolling Eyes Laughing

Eating grass is also a very common displacement behaviour, e.g. to displace anxiety, social pressure, etc. It's not always nutrition related.

It is considered to be a normal behaviour unless it is excessive.

Not surprising that Holly eats ALOT of grass Rolling Eyes Laughing

Laughing ... you may see a reduction in this over the next few months Wink

It may be normal, some pets seem to like the taste of grass. They not be feeling well and eat grass to vomit. Or they may vomit after eating grass

Coco is eating a lot of grass at the moment - I think the spring grass probably tastes good (she loves most fruit and veg anyway so grass is just something else to eat). It is possible that she is hungry (or feeling hungry sick) as she is waking earlier with the light mornings and probably thinking she should have her breakfast sooner than she does.

The only problem we have with grass eating is when she passes a long blade of grass straight through and it has to be helped out Rolling Eyes

I noticed when I brought Oreo home she ate grass and did so for a few days. When she settled in it stopped and she hasn't touched it since. Would make sence with the post a few posts above.
