He doesn't look at all overweight to me. I don't think you can always compare weight between Labs when they vary so much. Mins would be obese at the weight of other Labs and they'd be anorexic at her weight! Smile

To give you an idea my 6 month old BITCH who is 3/4 showlines and 1/4 trial weighs 22.5kg right now, so would expect her to be nearly your boys weight in 4 - 5 weeks time.

He looks spot on. Our breed is so diverse, clear your mind of stereotypes, even 'vets ones' Wink

The weights do seem to vary massively even the chart on the board at the vets said between 24kg and 35kg! I read the LF thread where everyone posted their dogs age and weight to try and get a rough idea but there weren't 2 the same so thought I'd be best off asking everyone what the thought. I know it's only from photos but its made me feel alot better so thank you Very Happy Very Happy

I think he looks great. As has been said before Labbies come in all shapes and sizes. I have a 13 month old fairly small girl I weighed her at the vet tonight and she weighed 25.8kg.

However looking at your pics her body covering is similar to your boys.

I wouldn't worry anymore about it.

Ralph weighed roughly that much at Rufus' age and i thought teh same. Though Ralph is now 17 months and weighs 27.6, he does not look any slimmer to me and has stayed that weight for over 6 months. I think i just have got the correct food intake and exercise routine.. Very Happy Rufus looks so lovely by the way x
