We have the pink version of Lunas yellow PAH collar and it did us through last year o.k, this year because we walk up the lane in the evenings we are mainly sporting a high-vis jacket "a la Diesel" (nice modeling Diesel) and mum wears one also (although she keeps trying to take it off !!).

Mum also got scared last year so has decided to wait until it's not quite so dark before we go out in the morning now - she a wus, I think she just wants to snuggle in bed for longer. (I am lucky to be able to change my hours in the winter - be careful all you labrador mummies and daddies be seen and be safe)

xx

I think you need to walk Mackie now for that, he looks so neglected with his coat on and nowhere to go Laughing

Give in! Give in! Poor abused Mackie Crying or Very sad Wink

Thanks for the warning re: waterproofness of collar. Thankfully we don't walk near swimming ponds in the dark otherwise Loon's would already be defunckt! The collar has so far survived heavy rain, mist/fog and a hose down after being smeared in something smelly though Rolling Eyes

You can get high visability soft harnesses, Sam has one and it picks up nicely in any beam of light. We went for a walk in a very dark park last week, hadn't really considered there were no lights to be honest probably shouldn't have been walking there on my own - oops - anyway I could see Sam the whole time even if I couldn't see anything else!

You can get them in orange high vis or yellow high vis http://dog-games-shop.co.uk/harnesses-fleece-lined/size-5-fleece-lined-dog-harness
