Hello!
I have now (today!!) handed in my notice at work, and formally accepted a new job up in Sunderland.
So it's official; I'm moving up at the end of November, and start work on the 6th December....
Aaaaahhhhh!!!! Scary biscuits!!!!!
But since I won't know anyone in the area, would anyone like to meet up and go for a walk on the beach? (Possibly not quite as early as Irene's (BossMax's) walk with the lovely photos though... )
OOOOH you will have to come to Scotchcoulthard for the training days! Even if you aren't bothered about the training, the ground is great, the dogs love it and Susans bacon rolls and scones are LEGENDARY!
Good luck with the move!

Thank you! Yes the Scotchcoulthard training sounds great - we'll be bottom of the class, but always up for a fun day out. Got no problem travelling an hour or so for bacon butties and scones!
Yep - I'm definitely up for a GT. I bet Irene will be too.
Mind you the beach will be bl----y freezing in December The north east wind can be biting, especially at the coast. So pack your fur garters
Glad you've got accommodation sorted out - and it sounds like you are going to be pretty near to the beach. Sorry I hadn't replied to your last pm - but things have been a bit hectic in recent days.
I think you are very brave taking such a big step in moving you and Mackie all this way - but feel sure you will enjoy living here.
There are lots of other lovely places for dog walks too - such as Penshaw Hill, Herrington Country Park, and Cox Green - to name just a few. I'm sure Mackie will love them all. And you will be moving just in nice time to do all your Christmas shopping at the Metro Centre.
