It does get easier, i lost my first ever dog Murphy nearly 18 months ago and i still miss him so much. I still get upset about him going and i am sure people think i am nuts to be sad over a dog. We now have Ralph n Olly who are brilliant but i still miss my Murphy.
It's still early days for you and you will have better days...these better days will become more often. No one will understand your loss because it's individual like your lovely doggie. Remember the good times and her waggy tail. x
Losing a much loved pet is very hard, your sisters dog misses her too and that makes it even harder for you, the loss of Jessie is still very raw to you but it will get easier as time passes.
Jess`ll always have that piece of your heart no matter how many more dogs you have in your lifem each and every one of them will leave a mark of some kind behind.
I understand how you feel I just lost Lady two weeks a go and i lost my old Lucy 3 year a go and i do really miss them and i wish i could get them back but i cant it will tack time .
It is incredibly difficult when you loose a canine friend ( currently going through this too ). The simplist thing can remind you that there not there but hang in there because I know that the good memories start to be the comfort that helps, it just takes time.
