We got back at just before 5, but we were not walking all that time, as planned we stopped at the waters edge pub and had a refreshing pint of lager and delicious lunch, it was so lovely, sun shining and watching the boats go by we stayed about an hour and half before setting off to complete the walk.
It was lovely to meet up with juanan, leanne and inca, shame kaiser didn't come but you must bring him next time, Sam your only in liverpool you must let me know any time you fancy a walk with the dogs and we could meet up be great to get to know you better,
Poor John don't think he knew what had hit him being left with 3 women one smaller person in the shape of my granddaughter two labs one cocker and a border terrorist my two daughters chattered and giggled the whole of the walk and i think john was quite bemused by it all really, still we had a perfect day and we thoroughly enjoyed the walk and the company was excellent, I didn't take any pics, sorry but i know juanan had his camera out a time or two so cant wait to see his.
Zak is now blotto on the sette and hasn't moved since we got home
Nice to meet all of you today. I think what Sheila has said in the post above sums everything up.
What a lovely walk with great company. You couldn't have spent time with three nicer women & one small small person who in my opinion really enjoyed herself. Sheila I was far from bemused in fact I enjoyed every minute of it A perfect day.
Sheila thanks for organising & making it one of the best days out I. have had in a long time. If you organise another I would love to come & if any of you want to come walking in the Peak District you are more than welcome to come over here.
Kelly has had a great time & has slept all the way home
aaawww... they are lovely Leanne, Bailey had been practically comatose since we got home!! suppose that means he had a great time. Some great piccies there. Hopefully we'll see you both again, with the gorgeous Inca (who I stil think should come home with me! ) and would love to meet Kaiser too.
loved those pictures, didnt the dogs have a good time splashing around in all that mud zak had a shower when we got home, and he has been comotose since also, he has actually fallen asleep in my seat and i have not had the heart to disturb him so i am sitting elsewhere
sam the pub part was very good and set us up for the last few miles of the walk, but then every good walk should always have a good pub in it somewhere
