You have to be very careful when doing this with pet insurance. Yes, you can get a discounted rate if you start a new policy online but beware! You will not be covered for the first 14 days and you may find that pre existing complaints will not be covered. Only do this if the saving is still more than a 2 week overlap and if you have never mentioned any other problem to the vet. Saving a couple of pounds per month might cost thousands in the long run.
