I have a jumper for Pasco for after a hooly if he is wet because so much of his fur has been shaved and never grown back! His body fat was so reduced he used to shiver!

Hudson though, nah, he repels water like some kind of super hero with a teflon coat!!!!! Laughing Laughing

Mackie had a fleece lined coat when he was a baby - it was winter and he still only had his single layer fur so he refused point blank to go more than 10 feet from the front door. Laughing People thought he was a terrier! Rolling Eyes Laughing He also wears a hi-vis one at night, with flashy lights - again people assume he's a guide dog with the hi-vis. I just say 'nope, he's just small, black, and independent' A friend didn't really think it was necessary until we were out one evening longer than expected and it got dark, and Mackie disappeared! Laughing (He re-appeared too , don't worry!)

Cadbury is a big baby and doesn't like rain (I know, I know, I keep telling him he's a lab). I have been tempted to get a coat just so he will actually come out in the rain and maybe for when we are hanging around at agility in the pouring rain, as he then has to get straight back in the car afterwards and its much nicer if he is not soaking wet!

But then we would still have to take it off for when we actually ran and I'm not sure he would appreciate it. So its probably a non-starter here too.

We used to live in the tropics but came back for a holiday one november. I was worried Basil would freeze with his summer coat going from 30c to freezing.
In reality he only wore it after a walk while in the car and on one very drizzly freezing day at brimham rocks.

He didn't seem to mind wearing it, I think he likes dressing up Laughing
I only paid a fiver for it new from ebay, it's fleecy lined, waterproof and has little reflector tape on it too.

Love the pictures of little Mackie in his coat!

Last year when we had the really cold weather, I noticed that once our walk was over, Rosie would shiver terribly. She tears around like a mad thing and will go in the water for swimming no matter how cold it is - but once we get in the car to come home, she's very cold. So I bought her a coat, which was too big, (looks exactly the same as Basils) so it's for Frank. He seemed quite happy in it when I put it on him. I'll get a smaller one for Rosie.

jake has a masta deluxe coat, he hates the rain and will often dig his heels in to go back home so i thought the coat was an easier option plus he doesn`t seem to mind it and it saves a lot of chasing to dry him once we get home Embarassed

shhhh don`t tell him it`s pink Laughing fits him perfectly now so i doubt it`ll last him much longer as he`s only 5 months so plenty of growing still to do!
