Is anyone planning to go to Bark in the Park next week? It is at Ravensknowle Park on the Wakefield Road coming out of Huddersfield next Saturday from 12 noon onwards. It is usually a nice afternoon out.

Will there be any LF members on the Lab Rescue stall?

If there are any other members there it would be great to say hello.

What a shame we are away on that day otherwise we would definately have attended, sounds good and we are fairly local - Brighouse. I keep looking for 'meets' in the West Yorks area but there doesn't seem to be any Crying or Very sad

I have PM'd you, I'm happy to meet up for a walk (your area or mine) and would love to have a proper get together with a few LF members.

I'm 5'4" with glasses and strawberry blonde shoulder length hair, I will probably have my 11 year old daughter and possibly OH with me (maybe the boys too). Coco is a small chococlate Lab and will be wearing a Rogz "bones on red" collar and lead, probably her halti too.

Say hello if you see us, we will probably be there earlier in the afternoon rather than later.

It will be great to meet a few other members, just say hello if you recognise us from the description. I quite often call Coco "cokey", especially if we're doing agility. We will be doing the have a go agility under scrutiny to see if we will fit into one of the Springers agility classes - last time we had a go in that park Coco decided to do a poo mid round, then bogged off after a loose dog but fortunately came back immediately when I whistled.

Depending on the weather, I might be taking some of my mad lot along. I'm not supposed to be lead walking them yet (after my op) but can manage them with halti harnesses on. If those don't work, I'll be the woman being dragged along the grass, face down, by 2, 3 or even 6 mad Labs Embarassed

What about arranging a time and place to meet up?

Yes, that'd be good - I don't think I've met any of you, and it would be lovely to. If someone wants to swop phone numbers, then I can introduce myself to the right people! I am more than likely to wander up to the wrong labs and say HI Embarassed Laughing

Don't think anyone with a Lab would mind Laughing A couple of years ago I spent most of the afternoon chatting with someone who had a Lab and Golden Retriever, even though we'd never met before - we even ended up with our photos in the paper together Laughing

Keep your fingers crossed for fine weather.
