A few of us Sussex-ites got together at Chanctonbury Ring on the South Downs for a get-together. Ellie and Poppy very kindly got us organised with motivation, time and location - thank you Ellie!!. Also there were Sasha and her boys Forrest and William, Sarah and her partner and Dozer, Ruth, her lovely daughter and Ruby.
I've not been on a lab GT before and have to say it was fantastic fun. The dogs all behaved beautifully and it was so lovely to see this pack of gorgeous labradors running along together and basically having fun. Mojo was in 7th heaven with all these pals to play with .
Anyway - enough chatter from me - photos that I took . I'm sure there are some far better ones from other attendees .

Great photos Amy! I hope Mojo managed to get up the energy to do well at training yesterday, Dozer is still absolutely tuckered from playing with his new pals. It was lovely to meet you all and was so nice to see all the dogs running about and playing nicely. Not one single bit of naughtiness from any of them!
Was also lovely to see a couple of Dozer's (distant-ish) relatives, I had trouble telling the difference between them all!
Sarah - we didn't make it to training last night - I was absolutely SHATTERED so heaven knows how young'un felt and I just didn't have the energy (or mobility) to spend an hour in the training shed yesterday (very naughty I know). I ended up soaking in the bath for an hour instead lol! . Rich (my hubby) reliably informs me that where we were walking is either very close to or actually IS a hill known in mountainbike circles as "Cardiac Hill" so I don't feel like such a whimp for feeling a bit tired and achey today (and I fully intend to use my "nearly 6 months pregnant, but looks close to popping any day" status to the fullest extent ).
We had such a wonderful time - thanks all for coming along and being such great company. It was lovely to see all the dogs getting along so fantastically - Poopy was knackered which is a very rare thing!! Lovely photos Amy - I will endeavour to post mine in the nest day or so.
Looking forward to seeing some of you at the Witterings and will have to sort another mid-sussex GT soon that everyone can make,
