Can't believe hadn't created this recipe before yesterday!

I made chocolate Rice Krispie cakes for Luna and I to take around to friends yesterday. As I heated the golden syrup and butter my eyes lighted on the jar of Marmite. (I hate the stuff but Luna loves it smeared in kong and diluted in ice cubes.)

So here's the recipe!

Ingredients: Marmite, Rice Krispies

Put a couple of spoonfuls of Marmite in a saucepan.
Heat the Marmite over a low heat whilst stirring.
Stir in Rice Krispies until Marmite covers all and they start to stick together.
Spoon into cake cases and leave to cool.
I decorated them with a doggy choc drop so could tell difference between human ones and doggy ones!

Luna loved her cake and so did her best pal! I guess if you like Marmite the dogs could maybe have a fight on their hands...?!

oh no! I like marmite but really not sure about that! Actually thinking about it minus the choc drop part its just like putting marmite on rice cakes which is akin to eating wallpaper but we won't go there... Laughing Glad the dogs liked them, I'm sure Sam would given half a chance, he's always keen to get at breakfast cereals, unfortunately for him he's not allowed atm. Sad

A doggy choc drop so that you could tell the difference? I'd have thought that the smell was a dead giveaway Shocked Laughing

I did notice last time I was in the supermarket (usually internet shop!) that they make different marmite products now and did reach for them as Luna treats until I noticed the price Shocked
I hate Marmite!
