Two weeks to go. Razz Laughing

As I type this, the eastern hedge is being cut (you can just see the sea 1.5 miles away Razz ) The grass in the camping field has been cut and the entrance to the field has been levelled.
So everything is near ready. Just one or two jobs to sort next weekend.

The official days are 14th-15th August but if you want to arrive earlier and/or leave later that is OK. The toilets will be here 12th-17th.


Anyway, what I would like is for the folk who are definitely attending (camping and day visit) to post in this thread.
That way I know who to PM directions/post code/mobile number to.

If you are not sure if you can make it, don't worry, you can send me a PM nearer the time for directions.

Michael and I are definetly coming with the 2 boys!!!

We are planning coming down Friday and leaving Monday if thats ok? I might stink a little by then though!!! Wink

Do you have an outside tap we can fill the water bottle from???

We are taking our BBQ and will bring some charcoal.

Um.... what else... yeah. we'll bring some meat but by Sunday I think the cool boxses will be done - so I suggest a pub dinner maybe Sunday??? Wink

Friday to Monday is fine.
If you are too smelly I do have one of them newfangled bathroom things, it has a sink and a shower and a bath in it. Razz

There is an outside water tap close to the field.
I have a spare freezer if anyone wants to make use whilst they're here.
There will also be rubbish bins available

There are a couple of pubs close by (10 minute walk) and many others a few minutes by car.

Have finished clearing out mums house today - three sheds to go now which I think will take at least another week. Can't wait to get away from here for a few days & I'm looking forward to it.

I've just read the 'Tick' thread.

To all that are attending:
The surrounding area is deer country. There are ticks around here.
I doubt there will be any in the camping field but they are possible in the surrounding fields where the deer come occasionally.
My lot are in the fields everyday and I've only found one (on Hollie) so far this season.
So, just a reminder to Frontline or whatever you use before you come.

me and zak are deffo coming, arriving on friday and leaving either sunday or monday, i have an overnight surprise guest in my tent for the friday night Wink

eve has been in touch with me and wonders if everyone arriving friday would like to meet up somewhere for a pub tea, not sure what the weather is gonna be like but a bbq on sat night if we all chip in with food and booze should go down really well with me,

fee i shall be relying on the good old bucket of cold water to keep me fresh Cool
