Medium here too, but only because I wanted to be able to use it on my cats too and a large would've been far too big.
Can't remember what age Bracken was when I first used it, but she'd still have been a puppy. I used to go over her maybe once a week, just lightly to get her used to being groomed. Then when she had her first big moult around the time of her first season, I furminated for Scotland!

You are supposed to use the furminator on dry coats but I have heard that there is a special furminator product available, though I have never seen it.
