I was laughing at Tilly's antics with the ball too! I bet she's a lot quicker around that course - have you tried running with the ball in your hand to get Tilly focused on you
I know Laura - she's hilarious! I have tried running with her ball in my hand but she's sooooo focused on the ball, she doesn't look where she is going and so crashes through everything like a bull in a china shop I do 'proper' agility with her at a club, and she's fab at it there and super-quick too, but bally stays at home - I'd never be able to get her to focus ever again if I took it!

Laura, if I throw the ball and it lands on the other side of a jump, she'll go over it fine.
If I get her to wait while I place the ball on the other side of a jump she'll go over, grab it and then bring it back over the jump (this is how I taught her to retrieve in the first place).
Once she's got the ball she often does her own little 'lap of honour' that includes jumping the cavalettis down the left hand side.
But if I have the ball, I've no chance of getting her over anything safely and she turns into a thing possessed, waiting for me to throw it
He's definitely making progress!! He may not be fast but he has a waggly tail giving away that he's having fun!!!
And he does have to cope with Tilly doing her own course in the background! She does make me laugh as she is just like Luna with that ball drop in the way, back up and stare! And if you move on I'll just move the ball and try again!
