Rosie 1 .Yes you have to pay this 20% when your dog reaches aged 8 and on top of that there will def be quite a big increase on your premiums as well but I know most insurance companies do that any way.
When I had my last lab TBH I never noticed much of an increase in my premiums until she reached aged 8 but I don't think that is the case with them now.It is a bit annoying because depending on who in petplan you do speak with sometimes there is a variation in what they tell you.

We're the same as Inglenook & Tess - ours is £24 for an 8 month old yellow male lab. Same reasons.
