Haven't been on this thread for a while - thought I'd update. Mitch is such a lucky boy! Working didn't work out for him. Now rehomed with a smashing young family (girl aged 9) in Central Scotland and he is just to settled and obviously loved.

They have been in touch with photos etc and I'm so glad we didn't take him back (although I WAS tempted) because he's just too strong for Megan ( and me Shocked ) so would have spent a lot of time being reined in.

Have a lovely Life Mitch, shame you didn't make it as Guide Dog but all that training hasn't gone to waste....

Good to hear Mitch has found his forever home, its nice that the family are keeping you updated on his progress too, having a 9yo to help him release some of his energy sounds ideal Very Happy

Ahh thats a lovely happy ending. My first and second pup are both in training at the moment and you hold your breath when you see that phone number of the training centre come up on the phone.

They do rehome really carefully after going through all the other avenues as well though.

Good luck Mitch and its lovely that his new owners are keeping you in touch.

I'm sure Mitch will have a great life as a much loved pet. I'm now off to take my withdrawn girl, Pebbles, for a walk.
