Do you know what - the amount of time I spend looking at her as a chocolate colour, I am beginning to think she's trying to tell me something!

My handy tip for washing her down, use a brush hose attachment meant for washing cars! It doesn't stop me getting wet and mud splatted but seems to do a good job of getting even sun-baked mud off with a minimum amount of time and fuss - as she doesn't like hoses! Getting her to stand in the paddling pool does the lower leg and paw areas for me - we've got quite efficient at the whole process!

Thanks for all the lovely praise, Luna's feeling a little sorry for herself today as she's suffering a bout of cold tail so all the compliments have helped her feel a bit better!

Cold tail is a muscle strain of the tail! Luna got it this time through swimming a lot one day and then the next day having mad play sessions with her pals. By the evening of the second day the signs were there - the tail kind of hangs downwards and the next morning I got a waggledance greeting with barely any wagging! It looks so wrong. She had an easy day yesterday but is still looking floppy today so a VERY easy day today mooching in the garden is prescribed - we have family gathering here in Sat so she needs to be fully recovered for that wag-fest!
