Has anyone else had appalling service from this company or am I the only one?
I started using Holistic Pet Supplies a year or so ago. My first order arrived on time. All subsequent orders have failed to arrive first time around, and one order failed to arrive after a second despatch (obviously I only have the company's word that these orders were actually despatched in the first place). My last order was incomplete, and I have been waiting on the missing product for 2 months now, and despite several e-mails to the company's owner, I have received no return communication from her.
I am about to send an 'I give up' e-mail to her, saying how disappointed I am and that I will no longer be using her company, or recommending it to friends and clients (I don't want someone else's bad service reflecting on mine) so thought I would ask just in case I really have been THAT unlucky, and my complaints aren't totally justified.
Not me personally but on another forum I'm on, pretty much everyone who uses them has had problems and only got them resolved after numerous emails and phone calls
Lizi, I placed an order with them after you recommended them (sorry!) and I had an email saying the order had been despatched and yet when it arrived over a week later, the posting date was a week later than advised.
I have since placed another order which was apparently despatched on 6 April but I have yet to receive it so I suspect that will be the same situation.
After reading your post though, I suppose I should be glad the first order I arrived! I thought it was just me but obviously not

And Angela, really sorry I recommended them ~ I hope I remembered to say to you at the time that their delivery had been somewhat unreliable.
My mind is made up and I feel better about sending my 'I give up' e-mail now. I just didn't want to be speaking completely out if turn. Not that it sounds as though it will make much of a difference to their appalling service
I was going to order from them, and sent an email with a product query last week. I didn't get and answer so I didn't get round to ordering. Don't think I'll bother now!

It is a shame. The website gives the impression of a very large, professional and well-organised company, but this appears not to be so in reality.
If she is having cash-flow and stocking problems she would do well to down-size and focus on giving A1 service, rather than offering such a vast, virtual array of products that in reality she is unable to deliver.
I have ordered with them in the past and I have had no complaints. However, for one reason or another I have not placed an order with them since April 2009. Maybe they have had a change of owner/manager since then which can make all the difference.
…well at least it's not only me that is having problems with this shop!! I'm also having a very annoying and miserable service from Holistic Pet Supplies this days (I was googling about them, when I found this topic, though my 'girl' it's not a lab ).
One month ago, I made an order and only today I received it, and it's not even complete!
The time I ordered, 2 days after, they send me a confirmation email that the order was send, but after 3 weeks or something, I hadn't receive anything; I send them an email referring this, and no answer at all, after 4 more emails still nothing, any reply and no package. Also, nobody ever answers the phone.
I contact http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/ , there you can make a complaint, you can also use the templates for the complaints. Yesterday I send HPS another email referring the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and finally, today (quite fast it was…) I receive my order, but unbelievable it was not even with all the items I ordered! I look up on their website, and for my surprise this items that are missed are not for sale anymore! I really don't know what's the thing with these people, but I think I don't even want the products anymore, I'm really considering to return everything (I don't feel confidence to use their products on my 'babies'…)
I suggest you check the consumerdirect website, it's obvious this shop is causing some problems to more than 1 people. I shop online a lot and I never had such a bad experience like I'm having with these guys.
