Same here... I keep telling myself that although Molly needs 'sharpening up a bit' her recall isn't a total disaster so we can be just a little more lenient than they suggest. I hope I'm right!

I ordered both 1 and 2 6 weeks ago. The "right start" came almost by return of post, but "passing grade one" only came at the beginning of last week. Being a complete novice to gundog training, I am finding it very informative and easy to understand. I've read quite a lot of books on the subject and this one does seem to be the best by far.

I agree! And although we've done things we're not 'supposed' to have. I am so chuffed to see that Luna seems to have the natural instincts her breeding suggests she should have!

I'm thinking that my Loon is bright enough to know when we're having fun and when we're doing gundog training - I'll let you know Laughing Laughing
