Well as you all know, I have little if any time to work on Lab Forums nowadays with other commercial activities consuming more and more of my time and my Spare (what little there is !!!) time being used up with family / children etc
To this end I have been pursuing means of building upon what we have here on Lab Forums without losing touch completely as LF has a huge emotional and personal link to us via of course Bradley
After pursuing potential sale ideas, partnerships etc I have finally come to agreement with someone who has been a Lab Owner so knows the breed, does marketing and development work and has time and energy to devote to the site.
Over the next few months we will be working together to enrich the site for members and subscribers alike.
We will be looking to provide additional content, new and updated site features and exclusive member discounts. High on our list of priorities are:
• A 'You-Tube' type video upload facility for storing and sharing your most popular lab moments or dog training videos;
• An extensive and searchable directory of pet product suppliers;
• A 'Find-a-Vet' service searchable by location;
• An 'E-Bay' type auction facility for recycling your valuable yet unwanted pet paraphernalia;
• A business directory of pet insurance companies with exclusive discounts for Labrador Forums members;
• More content on pet training and animal medical issues, more news and views, latest technology and exciting product launches;
• Exclusive offers and discounts negotiated especially for Labrador Forums members;
• Introduction of a Labrador Forums 'Group' policy for vets fees, insurance and third-party liability.
• And many more....
They won't all happen at once and not necessarily in the above order, but I am sure you will bear with us whilst we develop and implement these new and exciting features.
Please feel free to put forward your own suggestions as to how you see the community developing and what features you would like us to introduce. If your ideas are supported and viable we will be happy to add them to our list of priorities.
The best way to get in touch with any feedback / ideas is via PM to James. His account here on LF is MurphyMock
Together, we can ensure that Labrador Forums maintains its position as the leading Labrador Community site in Europe.
