i know what you mean about the reviews, as even they are really quite moving. i've found what i've read so far, to be just full of emotion - her writing that is - and mainly good, happy stuff so far. you can really tell she has passion for what she does and the dogs she works with.

Not only does she think about the bigger picture and the long term impact of our treatment of our dogs, but it is beautifully written and a joy to read.
Whenever I feel like I'm losing the plot I pick it up again, it makes everything make sense and people like CM fade away to a slightly annoying buzzing in the background
I started reading 'bones' last week and have been telling everyone I encounter about it.
It is fantastic, beautifully written and it really opens ones eyes to the things in life that it is too easy to take for granted. An utterly life enhancing book. I too wish I had found it sooner.
