Obedience Uk does have a good list of clubs, but it is alphabetical rather than grouped by area which makes it harder to use unless you know the name of the club you are looking for...
I did actually have a look there first as it is such a good resource and dogclub uk too - and think I drew a blank....
Although frustratingly I saw that someone was offering training days tonight - in Brentwood, just when it is too late  - my sense of timing is impeccable!!!!
Thanks for the suggestion Mo - it was a really good one!
One of these days I will get round to joining... for the resources Susan - YOU have at least entered competitions!!!

'entered competitions' in the loosest sense of the word - one comp in which Zadie & I played in the ring to see if we could get her nose off the ground at any point!!! We succeeded briefly - but it was effective in showing me how much work I need to do.
I now have one trainer who insists I must compete this year and another who insists I must not consider competing at all this year - oh the joys of multiple trainers - hehehehehe
