Hi everyone
Just wanted to say thank you for all the posts that are in this thread - we have just put down a deposit for our black labrador male puppy this afternoon and the wealth of knowledge has been great! This points and tips about things to ask the breeder/things to be aware of have been so useful. I would really recommend everyone who is thinking of getting a dog to read these hints and tips!
How to the exciting stuff - we are going to get our puppy mid/end feb - so excited. he is gorgeous - a black labrador boy and we are going to call him Tiber (after James Tiberius Kirk from star trek - my husband and i are both sci-fi fans and also after the River Tiber in italy as we both love Italy)
Will post pics when we get them - but just wanted to say thanks for all the advice on the forum - its so good to know that there are labrador owners who have gone thru things ahead of us - i'm sure I'll be posting more questions int he next few weeks as we prepare for Tiber's arrival! and of course many questions when we get him!

Hi Annie and welcome to LF  , its great that you got so much information from the puppy section on the forums, its nice to know that it helps point people in the right direction in their search for a pup
I love the name Tiber, most unusual, looking forward to meeting him when he comes home
