  |
|
Hi All,
I have read a lot of the insurance posts on here, we have a lovely 14 week old Lab, and I have been looking at different cover for him.... Animal Friends Insurance was competitive but I already have two cats (they love the new pup... not...) so I have called Pet Plan... They have offered.
Life time cover, £4,000 per year per condition
£75 excess per year per condition
cost £21.00 per month...
Looking around I think I'm gonna but from them.... Unless any of you well informed folk can give me a heads up.....
Looking forward to your replies... and thanks.....
Regards
Dave

I paid Sainsbury's a lump sum of £178 for £7,500 per claim and the amount of claims are unlimited so that's about £15 a month

Get a quote from Healthy-pets. I have my cats with them. I have my lulu (lab) with Pet Plan and it started the same price as you've been quoted but as Lu then had hip dysplasia and needed a replacement its pushed my monthly payments to £30 a month and god knows what it'll go up to in April!! im stuck with them now too as if i switch it'll be considered a pre-existing condition and wont be covered....
anyho hopefully your'll never need it anyways!

We are with Pet Plan and have made quite a few claims over the last 3 years. They may be a bit more expensive than other companies but we have never had a problem - they have always paid out. They pay the vets direct which is great because Troy has 2 long term conditions and regularly needs to have blood tests, medication etc.
I think we pay about £23 per month now. Each time we renew our policy, we expect it to go up loads, but it has usually just been about 50p p/m.
