I say thank goodness for pet insurance!
I don't know where I would have been without it. And none of Monty's problems (and he's got a few! ) were apparent until he was 2.
He's covered for £4000 per year (with 75 excess for each condition) and some years we have been just under the limit.
It's been a godsend!

Like with all types of insurance I think it's peace of mind more than anything, if the worst was to happen then it's obviously been worth every penny you've paid. You do need to be very careful when shopping around as there's so many different terms and phrases for essentially the same service/cover, they just like to confuse things, like any financial product I guess!
