i understand the costs of having a dog with hd but luckily am with pet plan and so far no problems. at the minute we have alfie stabilised using weight control and luckily he is ok showing no signs of it at the minute. seeing the work done at a hydro centre and how positive results can be achieved. i am looking into taking him soon or if his condition gets worse!

Hi there, was just in the market to find ins for our new addition Sky. Which i will post about in a sec.

Mac is insured with pet insurance.co.uk who are under written by E & L, I have to say I have had a good experience with them over all in regards to Mac having HD in both hips. hes had two big operations now not to mention the dislocation of one and all the meds and x rays..

Only difference was I did not have the money to hand and selected that they pay the vets direct. A small amount of chasing has been involved but they've paid it all.

So maybe one good story amongst the bad lol.

I have too also heard some bad stuff about them and don't feel i want to insure Sky with them really.
