Every time I see Una's Mum's number come up on my phone, I think "Oh dear what has Una done" or "What's up with Una" but more often than not she is just ringing for a chat and to tell me Una is fantastic. It doesn't stop me from worrying though and I don't think I ever will.
I'm really pleased Ash's Mum has decided to stay in touch though, as it's so nice to hear how they are getting on. I wish Oyster's Dad had stayed in touch, as I often wonder about her. I suppose no news is good news though.
Ash and his new owner will be fine together, the Guide Dog people will have ensured that they are well matched for each other and I think they spend sometime together at the centre before going into the big wide world
Its good you`ve been able to chat with his new owner, hope she stays in touch

I've only been dipping in and out of the forum in the last few months and have only just seen this. Many congratulations to you and Ash on his wonderful achievement. What a mix of emotions it must be when you finally hear your pup has made the grade and is now a working Guide Dog.
I have just heard two days ago that Annie has been teamed up with her new partner and that she already seems to have taken to him, snuggling in with him when she goes to visit. So next month I'm expecting to hear she too has qualified, so hopefully no last minute problems.
Very well done to you and Ash and good luck with Mitch.
