Do you think this could be it.......

Quote:
We will not pay more than the maximum limit or limits that applied
to the month during which the condition first started, subject to
cover still being in force.

It's on p12 in the direct line advanced policy doc, under vets fees point 2. But there's no information on what these limits are or mention of 'limits' under definitions.

I can't find anything on their website either relating to max pay out amounts Evil or Very Mad

By maximum limit I took that to mean the £6000 per condition. I had no idea until I phoned that there were any other limits.

That's exactly what I thought and I did read the policy document before I took it out.

Now I wonder if it's ambiguous and is referring to the individual vets fee limits....either way I think the lack of it mentioned clearly in the policy and on the website means I'd have a good case to argue it.
The website has loads of FAQ's and no mention of anything other than the £6k for vets fees.

The policy document also says they can only change the T&C on annual renewal.

It'll be quite a while I suppose with Xmas coming until I see what of my £1700 they intend to pay!

My vets posted the claim form on 10th November and a cheque was sent by DL (straight to vet) on 27th November.

Have they not already paid out the amount that they think you should receive?

I sent the first claim on 25th november, the other part on friday.

My vets don't do direct claims so I have to pay the bill and claim it back.

They've said about 17 days, but i'm expecting a little delay due to our old vets being overseas (and I assume they'll want to verify he's not had this before)
